UX Researcher/Change Practicioner, Applied Information Sciences

Weimin Hou holds a doctoral degree in human-computer interaction. She has extensive experience in user research, information architecture, interaction design, content strategy, and plain language writing. She has worked with diverse user groups on numerous projects for government and commercial clients improving websites, intranets, medical devices, print materials, and other products. A strong advocate for UX, she helped establish her company’s competency standards for UX research, architecture, design, and engineering. In the last few years, she started to get into organizational change management (OCM), which she believes is a great discipline that can benefit the UX field, professionals, and users.
