Facilitation can get you a seat at the table: Practice your facilitation skills, and convert any design meeting into a co-creation opportunity.

Over the last few years, UX job descriptions have started to list facilitation as a core skill. In our current hybrid/remote work environment, it is even more important to be able to facilitate meaningful discussions and collaborative decision-making.

In this workshop, I will share recipes for turning common design meetings into workshops, and give you the tools you need to facilitate instead of building presentations. We will walk through facilitation methods for common design meetings – stand-ups, critiques, ideation sessions, research readouts, and road-mapping.

You will redesign one of your own upcoming meetings using the tools and techniques taught in this workshop, and practice your facilitation skills. You will walk away with the confidence to design and lead interactive working meetings.
